EasyJet Announces 9 New Routes for Winter 2026
EasyJet has revealed a series of new routes for the upcoming winter season, including two departures from London airports and the airline's longest-ever flight. The low-cost carrier is expanding its network with services to popular European destinations and a tropical paradise.
Longest-Ever Route to Cape Verde
EasyJet is launching its longest-ever flight, connecting Amsterdam to the island of Sal in Cape Verde. The route spans 2,503 nautical miles (4,636 km) and takes approximately 7 hours and 20 minutes. Flights will be available from October 2026, with one-way fares starting at £120. This service offers British travellers a new option for a winter sun getaway, with pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters.
EasyJet already operates flights to Cape Verde from Bristol, London Gatwick, and Manchester, but the Amsterdam route will be the carrier's longest to date.
New Routes from London Airports
Two new routes will depart from London airports:
- London Luton Airport to Ljubljana, Slovenia
- London Southend Airport to Budapest, Hungary
EasyJet will be the only airline operating scheduled services on these routes from the respective airports.
