Rockstar Games has opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 in the United Kingdom, confirming that the standard edition costs £69.99 and the Ultimate Edition is priced at £89.99. This dispels earlier rumours that the game would cost £100.
Pre-order details and availability
Pre-orders went live at midnight on June 25, 2026, following the announcement of the Ultimate Edition earlier this week. The game is available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no PC version confirmed for this year. Players can order via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or physical retailers such as Amazon, Argos, and Currys, though physical copies contain only a download code—no disc is included.
Pre-order bonus
All pre-orders include a one-month subscription to GTA+ and the exclusive Vintage Vice City Pack. This pack features a ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan, a Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, exclusive outfits and hairstyles for protagonists Lucia and Jason, and a Tommy Vercetti-inspired weapon pattern.
Ultimate Edition extras
The Ultimate Edition includes a range of cosmetics and minor DLC. Highlights include the ’67 Vapid Dominator buggy with Paradise Garage, a ’95 Grotti Cheetah (a Ferrari-inspired car with retro-future livery), and Vapid Ganado mods accessible at Jason’s safehouse. Two exclusive vehicle mod shops—Rideout Customs in Vice City and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida—allow customisation of most cars. A classic car collection quest line offers four exclusive rides, such as the Shitzu Squalo speedboat with weapons crate. Additional items include a Hawk & Little Morgan revolver, personalised weapon variants for each character, and the PTT Youngin$ compound for raiding drug gangs. Cosmetic additions include Vice City styles (clothing and tattoos), Goodtime Gear gachapon merch, Stock 305 clothing store exclusives, Sara’s Unisex Salon with facial hair and makeup options, and Electric Fang tattoo parlour with over 50 designs.
Upgrade path and collector’s edition
Players who purchase the standard edition can upgrade to the Ultimate Edition later, though the upgrade price is not yet announced—likely around £25 after launch. No physical collector’s edition with statues or apparel has been announced, unlike GTA 5. Rockstar may release one later, but no rumours currently exist.
According to Rockstar, the game is set in Vice City with protagonists Lucia and Jason. The second trailer appeared in May 2025, but little else is known about the game.
