Gordon Ramsay to Rival Brooklyn Beckham with Hot Sauce Brand Launch
Gordon Ramsay to Rival Brooklyn Beckham with Hot Sauce

Gordon Ramsay is reportedly preparing to escalate his feud with Brooklyn Beckham through a new business venture. The 59-year-old chef and his wife Tana have long been close friends with David and Victoria Beckham, and their children have grown up together. However, tensions have risen since Brooklyn publicly criticized his parents in a January Instagram statement, accusing them of being controlling and attempting to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz.

Ramsay's Previous Comments

Earlier, Ramsay expressed hope that the Beckhams could reconcile, while also advising Brooklyn to reflect on his actions. He stated, "I think it's only going to be a matter of time before Brooklyn takes a good look at himself." Brooklyn responded by unfollowing Ramsay on Instagram, signaling a clear snub.

New Trademark Filing

Now, Ramsay has reportedly trademarked the name "Hotter Than Hell by Gordon Ramsay," a spicy relish used in his restaurants. According to The Sun, this move suggests Ramsay may sell bottled versions of the sauce, directly competing with Brooklyn's Cloud23 hot sauce brand, launched in 2024. An insider commented, "If Gordon is launching his own sauce, he'll be going up against Brooklyn in that market. Things will get spicy if they end up clashing over it."

Brooklyn's Cloud23 Brand

Brooklyn's Cloud23 Instagram page has amassed 92,000 followers, where he shares recipe videos promoting his two sauces: Sweet Jalapeño and Hot Habanero. These are sold at Whole Foods in the US and UK, and online for £15 per bottle. The brand name honors his father's jersey number 23 from his time with Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, a nod to their once-amicable relationship.

Brooklyn has described the venture as a "passion project," telling Delish magazine, "I've never worked so hard on anything in my life." He identified a gap in the market for affordable luxury condiments, and the brand has since expanded into clothing merchandise.

Ramsay's Business Empire

Ramsay is no stranger to branded products, with a range of cookbooks, apparel featuring his famous expletives, and over 100 restaurants worldwide. Two months ago, he expressed support for David and Victoria after Brooklyn's public statements, noting that Victoria was "upset" and that he "knows just how much David loves Brooklyn."

Regarding his relationship with Brooklyn, Ramsay said, "Brooklyn and I have messaged a little bit. Our relationship is solid. I love him. His heart is incredible. But it's hard, isn't it, when you're infatuated?" He added, "Love is blind. It's easy to get up on that rollercoaster and get carried away. But it will come back."

Current Status of the Feud

Since cutting ties with his family, Brooklyn has remained in the US with Nicola and her billionaire family, renewing their vows last summer. Despite his parents' public birthday wishes in March, Brooklyn has shown no desire to reconnect. Last month, on their anniversary, he wrote a heartfelt card to Nicola, stating, "Happy 4 year anniversary baby I love you with all my heart. We have been through so much together but today we are stronger than ever and you are my best friend."
