Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's £74k Monthly Salaries Revealed in Divorce
Kidman & Urban's £74k Monthly Salaries in Divorce

The substantial monthly incomes of Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman and country music singer Keith Urban have been laid bare in legal documents as they finalise their divorce after two decades together.

Financial Details and Custody Arrangements

Court papers obtained by Page Six show that both the 58-year-old actress and the 57-year-old musician earn in excess of $100,000 per month, which is more than £74,000. This substantial income, equating to over $1.2 million (£891,300) annually for each, means that neither party will be required to pay child support.

The former couple, who married in June 2006, share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Their separation, filed on the grounds of 'irreconcilable differences', has been described as painful, with Kidman admitting she is 'hanging in there'.

The Agreed Parenting Plan

The divorce settlement includes a meticulously detailed custody agreement. Nicole Kidman will have the children for the majority of the time, with their father, Keith Urban, having them from 10am on Saturdays until 6pm on Sundays every other weekend.

Special holidays have also been carefully divided between the parents:

  • Nicole will have the daughters on Mother’s Day and over the Easter period.
  • Keith will have them for Father’s Day and during Thanksgiving.

Importantly, the legal terms bind both stars to not 'speak badly of each other' or other family members. They have also vowed to 'encourage' their children to 'love the other parent and be comfortable in both families'.

Background and Personal Statements

When news of the split first emerged, a source close to the 'Big Little Lies' actress told People magazine that Kidman 'didn't want this' and had 'been fighting to save the marriage'.

Amid the personal turmoil, Kidman has found solace in her work. While promoting the 'Practical Magic' sequel in an interview with Ariana Grande, she spoke of feeling 'protected and loved' by her female co-stars, including Sandra Bullock, Joey King, and Maisie Williams. She described the filming experience as a 'very, very safe' environment, contrasting it with roles she finds emotionally draining.

The divorce proceedings have brought to light not only the end of a high-profile 20-year union but also the considerable financial standing of both celebrities and their committed approach to co-parenting their teenage daughters.
