The standout was Sea Dragon, where an unforgettable atmosphere under the stars complemented excellent dishes like lobster spring rolls and Gong Bao chicken.

Kandima strikes a clever balance between relaxation and activity. For those seeking calm, the Eskape Spa, Kula art studio, and serene beaches provide ample opportunity. For adventure, the Aquaholics Dive Centre organises excursions, while Fast Track electric go-karting delivers high-octane fun.
The resort is exceptionally family-friendly. The PlaySpace entertainment centre is a major draw, featuring tenpin bowling, pool tables, escape rooms, and a state-of-the-art VR experience. This setup allows different generations to pursue their own interests before reuniting for meals, making it ideal for group travel.
The Unforgettable Castaway Experience
A highlight of the trip was the resort's signature Castaway experience. Booked via Aquaholics, a speedboat whisked guests to a remote, uninhabited island. Left alone for hours with just a table, parasol, Champagne and canapés, they enjoyed pristine snorkelling and the unique thrill of having an entire island to themselves.
With 270 villas ranging from beach studios to overwater aqua villas, six restaurants, and a vast array of facilities, Kandima packs an impressive amount into one island without ever feeling crowded. It transformed an impromptu holiday into a memorable collection of gourmet meals, vibrant evening atmospheres at the Beach Club, and thoughtfully crafted experiences that linger long after departure.
