The iconic London Eye on the South Bank is set to undergo a vibrant transformation this spring, with colourful flower pods adorning its capsules throughout April and the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. This floral installation aims to celebrate the season by framing the pod windows with blooms and applying colourful decals to the glass, offering visitors a unique opportunity to peer through petals at London's most scenic views, including the River Thames and central landmarks.
Limited-Edition Spring Experiences
In addition to the flowery makeover, the London Eye will introduce exclusive spring-themed activities. A limited-edition spring afternoon tea will be available, featuring a high-tea menu with floral treats, lemon and lavender mini cupcakes, and fruit tarts, starting from £75. For a more interactive experience, a Lego Botanicals activity, developed in collaboration with Lego Designers, will allow guests to build their own Lego Botanicals Daisies Posy to take home, priced at £59.
Event Details and Pricing
The floral installation and associated activities will run from March 27 to May 4, 2026. Tickets for the flowery Eye capsule are priced at £29, matching the cost of regular rides. Pre-booking is available through the London Eye website, ensuring visitors can secure their spot for this seasonal spectacle.
Easter 2026 Attractions Across London
The London Eye is not the only attraction embracing the Easter spirit in 2026. Hampton Court Palace will host a Lindt Gold Bunny hunt for children, while Ham House in Richmond offers a family-friendly egg hunt. For adults seeking a more sophisticated activity, Top Cuvée will organise a wine-themed scavenger hunt, adding to the diverse range of events across the city.
This floral initiative by the London Eye highlights a trend of seasonal enhancements at major attractions, providing both locals and tourists with fresh reasons to explore London's offerings. With its blend of visual appeal and interactive experiences, the installation is poised to draw crowds seeking a colourful and engaging way to welcome spring.
