Millionaire Flees London After Weeks Calling It 'Horrible' and 'Dangerous'
Millionaire flees London after weeks calling it 'horrible'

An Italian millionaire who planned to build his business and life in the UK has made a swift exit, branding London 'horrible', 'unbelievable', and 'dangerous' after a stay of just a few weeks.

Eduardo Biasi, known as Eddy, arrived from Milan with ambitions to stay for six months and then move permanently. The 26-year-old entrepreneur, who boasts 316,000 Instagram followers, instead cut his trip short, vowing to 'never invest a penny' in a country he once admired.

From Big Dreams to Constant Fear

Eddy, who built his fortune from humble beginnings delivering pizzas for £5 an hour, came to London expecting significant business opportunities and high-level connections. Instead, he claims he was met with a reality of phone thieves on bikes, street chaos, and a pervasive fear of being robbed.

He stated he was left in a state of constant anxiety, unable to go outside without worrying about being attacked, even if he wasn't visibly displaying wealth. "I couldn’t go outside without worrying if someone would rob or attack me," he said. "I constantly spotted thieves on bikes stealing people’s phones... you don’t feel safe walking around the street."

The Financial and Political Shock

The shock wasn't limited to crime. Eddy was stunned by the cost of living, recalling a £60 bill for a simple plate of pasta that nearly made him spit out his drink. He attributed the skyrocketing prices to a combination of London's inherent expense and the impact of Brexit.

His criticism extended to the political climate. He claimed that since the Labour party came into power, the country feels "cautious and closed off," and he despises their policies, which he believes push away entrepreneurs. "When you try to build something in the UK, people focus on stability instead of ambition," he explained, contrasting it with the fast-moving, optimistic environment he found in Dubai.

A New Life in Dubai

Shaken by his London experience, the founder of the digital investment platform Beef Profit quickly booked a flight to Dubai. Since relocating to the tax haven, his business has flourished, now serving more than 2,000 clients.

He now rents a four-bedroom penthouse on the 59th floor of the iconic FIVE tower and enjoys a dynamic lifestyle of networking, events, and sports. "I left London scared of being robbed – now I wake up every day in Dubai feeling unstoppable," Eddy declared, confirming that his ambitions for the UK have been permanently abandoned.
