Mel Giedroyc deserves special mention for transitioning from brightening evenings on The Great British Bake Off to executing a disgustingly memorable prank on Last One Laughing that might permanently alter cookie consumption habits. Paradoxically, this has only increased admiration for her comedic talents.

The impending conclusion of season two brings inevitable sadness, but nearly 30 international spin-offs await discovery. Meanwhile, I've been compiling a dream list of comedians for potential season three participation: Russell Howard, Sarah Millican, and television royalty Alison Hammond could elevate the series to even greater heights with the right casting.
