Kerry Katona Makes Millions on OnlyFans But Warns Daughters Off Platform
Kerry Katona's OnlyFans Millions & Warning to Daughters

Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has disclosed that she earns 'millions' from her content on the subscription platform OnlyFans, a career pivot she made when the COVID-19 crisis halted her conventional work. The 45-year-old mother-of-five, however, is fiercely protective of her daughters, stating she does not want them to pursue a similar route.

From Pandemic Panic to Financial Freedom

Katona explained that her move to OnlyFans was born out of immediate necessity. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, her live appearances and media opportunities were cancelled overnight. As a single parent responsible for five children, the financial pressure was intense. "Everything was cancelled. I was panicking," she told The Times in a recent interview.

Seeing few alternatives, she turned to the platform, which she viewed as a return to her roots in glamour modelling. "I started off as a glamour girl, a page 3 model. I wasn't going to be a rocket scientist," she said frankly, referencing her challenging childhood. For Katona, the choice was a pragmatic one: leverage her existing assets to secure a substantial income quickly.

Open Family Discussions and Staggering Earnings

Crucially, Katona insists she was transparent with her family from the outset. She spoke to all five of her children before launching her page. "I didn't hide it. We talked about it as a family," she stated. Her children include daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden; Heidi, 17, and Max, 16, with second husband Mark Croft; and her youngest, DJ, 10, with late husband George Kay.

The financial results were dramatic. Katona claims to have earned approximately £160,000 in her first month alone. Since then, her total earnings have climbed into seven figures, though she avoids specifying an exact sum. "It's not about bragging," she insisted. "The money goes straight on the kids."

A Path For Her, Not For Her Daughters

Despite her personal and financial success on the platform, Katona is adamant that her four daughters should not consider OnlyFans as a career. She sees her role as absorbing public judgement and doing the "hard graft" so they can have better opportunities.

"Let me do it," she said. "They're too good for all this. I want them to have better options than I did." This protective stance stems from her own difficult experiences, which she says taught her that "no one is going to save you" and that self-reliance is key.

Katona shows no signs of stopping, regardless of age. When asked if she would still use OnlyFans in her seventies, she responded emphatically: "Abso-f******-lutely. If I am still making the money I am making, why would I not?"
