The glitterball trophy dream is over for Gladiators star Harry 'Nitro' Aikines-Aryeetey, who became the sixth celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2025 during Sunday night's results show.
The Final Dance-Off
During the Week 7 results broadcast on November 9, the bottom two contestants were revealed. The dreaded dance-off pitted Gladiators favourite Harry ‘Nitro’ Aikines-Aryeetey and his professional partner Karen Hauer against RuPaul's Drag Race UK star La Voix and Aljaž Škorjanec.
For their final performances, La Voix reprised her Foxtrot to 'Make Your Own Kind of Music' by Cass Elliot. Harry and Karen once again took on the challenging Samba to 'Samba' by Gloria Estefan.
A Unanimous Decision from the Judges
Following the dance-off, the judges delivered their verdict. Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, and Shirley Ballas all chose to save La Voix, sending Harry home. The decision was unanimous, meaning the rotating casting vote for Week 7, held by Motsi Mabuse, was not required. Motsi confirmed, however, that she would have also voted to save La Voix.
Speaking after his exit, Harry paid a heartfelt tribute to his professional partner: “I just want to thank Karen, genuinely, you have given me an opportunity to shine. You’ve understood my crazy brain. I’m such a logical person, trying to dance – and obviously doing what I do: Olympic sprinter, Gladiator – now I’m trying to be a dancer. I just want to thank you so much for the time and effort, the hard work that you’ve given to me.”
He added, “You show up, you turn out. I want to thank everyone here. Literally, this has been a dream come true. This is a celebration.”

The exit followed a highly competitive seventh live show on Saturday, November 8, which was not themed. The celebrity leaderboard after the judges' scores were as follows:
