Coronation Street: Becky's Jail Threat to Destroy Lisa's Life
Corrie's Becky Plots Final Revenge from Behind Bars

Coronation Street detective Lisa Swain is facing a terrifying new ordeal, despite her manipulative wife Becky Swain being safely behind bars. The police officer's world is under threat once more as Becky promises a devastating final act of revenge.

From Dream Reunion to Living Nightmare

For four long years, Lisa, played by Vicky Myers, grieved for her wife Becky, believing her to be dead after a hit-and-run. Her return to Weatherfield in the summer of 2025 initially seemed like a miracle. However, the reality of Becky's comeback, portrayed by Amy Cudden, swiftly turned into a nightmare.

Becky's agenda was clear: she was determined to reunite her family with Lisa and their daughter, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin). She nearly succeeded, convincing Lisa and Betsy to start a new life with her in Spain. That plan was shattered by a single, fateful phone call.

Carla's Suspicion and a Kidnap Plot

From the beginning, factory boss Carla Connor (Alison King) suspected Becky was dangerous. She correctly deduced that Becky's main goal was to break up her relationship with Lisa. Despite Carla's warnings, Lisa, fearful of Betsy losing her mother again, did not listen.

Becky ultimately got her wish when Lisa and Carla split. But with Carla continuing to dig for dirt on the former police officer, Becky decided she needed a permanent solution. Her chance came when she caught Carla searching her flat for evidence.

With Carla's friends and family believing she was on a solo holiday to Lanzarote, no one realised Becky had kidnapped Carla to silence her. The resilient factory owner managed to survive until Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) discovered where Becky had left her to die.

Dramatic Chase and a Shocking Crash

A dramatic cross-country chase ensued as Carla and Kit tried to track down the Swain family. Their pursuit fatefully collided with Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), who were having their own traumatic day.

The crash happened because Carla called Lisa to reveal the truth, distracting Becky at the wheel. Finally confronted with Becky's true, monstrous nature, Lisa took control and arrested her wife, seemingly ending the horror.

Becky's Vow from Prison

However, Becky was never going to surrender quietly. From prison, she sent Lisa a visiting order. During the emotional visit, just as she promised Carla she would, Lisa told Becky she was dead to her and that Carla was the love of her life.

Devastated and vengeful, Becky played her final card. She made it chillingly clear to Lisa that she is prepared to drag the detective down with her. Becky threatened to paint Lisa as an accessory to all her crimes.

She pointed out that Lisa had never questioned how they paid off their mortgage so quickly and had turned a blind eye to other suspicious activities. Becky warned that by the time she was finished, everyone would believe Lisa was just as guilty and had known about her crimes from the start.

The question now hangs over Weatherfield: is Lisa Swain set to join her wife behind bars as Becky executes her last, cruel act of revenge?
