EastEnders fan favourite Nicola Mitchell, played by Laura Doddington, made a dramatic return to our screens this week, and she's already at the centre of a massive storyline. After a noticeable absence during her son Harry's disappearance, Nicola is back and dealing with the devastating fallout from his recent ordeal.
A Romance Destroyed and a Bombshell Revealed
The drama escalated on Wednesday, November 8, when Harry Mitchell, portrayed by Elijah Holloway, escaped from drug dealer Okie Okyere. Nicola pleaded with Harry not to involve the police, fearing the repercussions. However, when Harry confessed his full involvement in Ravi Gulati's drugs ring and how he dragged his best friend Kojo into it, the Knight family was left reeling.
The truth proved catastrophic for Nicola's blossoming relationship with George Knight, played by Colin Salmon. George was disgusted by the events, and their romance was destroyed. In the coming week, a furious Nicola confronts Ravi's partner, Priya Nandra-Hart, who refuses to believe Ravi is involved.
The real shock, however, comes during a chat with her former sister-in-law, Honey Mitchell. Honey, sensing Nicola's strange mood, coaxes a massive secret out of her. Could Nicola be pregnant? Before Honey can probe further, a worrying phone call sends Nicola rushing to her son, leaving the bombshell hanging in the air.
A Deadly Confrontation and a Mother's Instinct
The mystery call leads Nicola straight into another crisis. Harry and Kojo find themselves in a deadly situation, facing Okie once more. This time, a knife is involved. In a frantic attempt to protect his friend, Harry accidentally stabs Okie.
