In a shocking new revelation, former child star Corey Feldman has claimed he was sexually molested by his late co-star and friend, Corey Haim, during the filming of the 1987 cult classic vampire film, The Lost Boys.
Disturbing Claims from a New Documentary
The allegations are made in Feldman's latest documentary, Corey Feldman vs. the World. Feldman, now in his fifties, reflects on his traumatic experiences as a young actor in Hollywood. According to a report by US Weekly, Feldman recounts a conversation with Haim, who was also around 14 years old at the time.
Feldman states that Haim suggested they "mess around," explaining that it was "what guys in the business do." Feldman claims Haim elaborated, saying: "You know, you suck each other’s d, or you f around, you do this stuff." When Feldman questioned him, Haim allegedly cited fellow actor Charlie Sheen as having told him "it was OK."
A Pattern of Historic Allegations
This is not the first time Feldman has implicated Charlie Sheen. He previously accused Sheen of sexually assaulting Haim on the set of the 1986 film Lucas. At that time, Haim was 13 and Sheen was 19. These claims were explored in depth in Feldman's 2020 documentary, (My) Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys.
Charlie Sheen has consistently and vehemently denied all allegations. A representative for Sheen previously told Metro.co.uk: "These sick, twisted and outlandish allegations never occurred. Period." The late Corey Haim's mother, Judy Haim, also defended Sheen, stating: "I stand firm, that Charlie DID NOT." Corey Haim died in 2010 at age 38 from pneumonia and never publicly addressed the accusations.
The Legacy of Speaking Out
Corey Feldman, a prominent figure in 1980s cinema with roles in Stand by Me, The Goonies, and Gremlins, has become a vocal advocate for victims of abuse in the entertainment industry. In a 2020 interview with Entertainment Weekly, he expressed pride in starting a movement for others to come forward.
"I think we’ve really started a movement here," Feldman said. "That’s what makes me proud. That’s what makes me feel like I’ve actually accomplished something in my life." His continued efforts aim to shed light on the systemic exploitation of young actors in Hollywood's past.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to representatives for Corey Haim's estate for comment on the new allegations presented in Feldman's documentary.
