The big winners of the night were clear. The action-packed thriller One Battle After Another and the television sensation Adolescence led the pack, each securing an impressive four Golden Globe awards. Adolescence, which was the most discussed show of the previous year, swept every category for which it was nominated.
In the film categories, the drama Hamnet, directed by Chloe Zhao, claimed the top prize of Best Film - Drama. Meanwhile, One Battle After Another won Best Film - Musical or Comedy, with its star, Leonardo DiCaprio, also taking home the award for Best Actor in that category.

Beyond Adolescence's clean sweep, other television categories celebrated a diverse range of programming. The Pitt won Best TV Series - Drama, while The Studio took the prize for Best TV Series - Comedy or Musical.
The acting awards in television saw Stephen Graham win Best TV Actor in a Limited Series for Adolescence, with Michelle Williams winning the corresponding actress award for Dying For Sex. For the first time, the Golden Globes also introduced an award for Best Podcast, which was won by Good Hang with Amy Poehler.
