The couple met on a blind date, set up by a music executive Jessie worked with on the 2018 film Wild Rose.
Prior to his current career, Sorensen worked as a television producer on major projects including The X Factor and ITV's Game of Talents UK. He also produced two episodes of the BBC's Gladiators reboot in 2022. "It's a really amazing old house that's been there forever," she said of the home, which she described as "falling down" when they found it. Of the wedding celebration itself, Jessie fondly recalled: "One of my favourite memories of the day was I wanted a keg of Guinness, and I definitely wanted their cheese toasties at a certain hour."
