Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne Split 'Permanently' After 13 Turbulent Years
Jacqueline Jossa has reportedly "finally had enough" and permanently split from husband Dan Osborne, ending their tumultuous 13-year relationship. The 33-year-old EastEnders actress and I'm A Celebrity winner has been married to the 34-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star since 2017, with the couple sharing two daughters - Ella, 11, and Mia, 7.
A Relationship Marred by Scandals and Repeated Separations
First meeting at an awards ceremony in 2013 and beginning their romance while Osborne's ex Megan Tomlin was still pregnant with their son Teddy, Jossa and Osborne's relationship has been plagued by numerous cheating allegations and temporary splits throughout the years. This time last year, it was revealed Osborne had moved out of their family home, though they reconciled within weeks.
However, after spending months separated this year, the couple have now reportedly decided to make their split permanent. "Everyone knows they've had their troubles, but after spending some time apart this year, they've decided to make the split permanent," a source close to Osborne told The Sun. "Their two daughters are their main priority."
The Final Straw and Separate Lives
Osborne is believed to have moved out permanently last month into a house he reportedly purchased behind his wife's back two years ago. This "secret" Essex home initially came to light after the on-again, off-again couple announced their split last March. Despite attempts to work on their marriage, including a family holiday to Mexico, sources indicate Jossa has reached her breaking point.
"After all Jac's been through, she's finally had enough. They've been living separate lives all this year and she's over it," a source revealed. "There's only so many times she can put herself through living in limbo and taking him back. She has mentally checked out and Dan has panicked. He's worried the grass isn't greener and has had the shock of his life that he's pushed Jac too far this time."
Jossa's Renewed Confidence and Focus
A friend of the actress said she'd "finally seen the light" and that both Jossa and Osborne had "both been telling friends it's over." The friend added that Jossa's confidence "had come flooding back" and she was now "happier than she's been in a long time." She's reportedly throwing herself into work and enjoying every moment with her children. "Life is short - she's determined not to waste it," they added.
The couple announced their engagement in 2015 and married at Delamere Manor in 2017, but their relationship has consistently been under public scrutiny due to multiple cheating allegations against Osborne. In previous interviews, Osborne has admitted to making mistakes, telling The Sun: "I've made mistakes, yeah. I've done things I shouldn't have done. Me and Jac have spoken about that and she has forgiven me. I take full responsibility for being c**p."
Previous Statements and Social Media Silence
When confirming their split a year ago, the couple issued a joint statement reading: "Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye. They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents - something that will never change."
The last time Jossa posted a photo with her husband on social media was around Christmas, while Osborne last shared a snap with her in September last year. Despite admitting to his own infidelities, Osborne has previously stated he would have left Jossa if she had cheated on him, telling The Sun: "There have been times where if it were the other way round, I would have left. I've said if it was the other way around I'd be gone, it's not like I've been brushing off any mistakes that I've made."
