Reality television star Katie Price has reportedly called time on her relationship with boyfriend JJ Slater, bringing their nearly two-year romance to an end. The split, which occurred in recent months, is said to have been driven by the former glamour model's growing doubts about their long-term compatibility.
Doubts Over 'Husband Material' Lead to Split
According to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, Katie Price, 47, had harboured concerns for some time about whether Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 32, was the right man for her future. The couple, who began dating in 2024, had previously discussed expanding Katie's family of five children.
The insider revealed that Katie had hoped her worries would subside, but instead, they intensified. "She's now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time," the source stated. The decision has left JJ, who "genuinely saw a future with Katie," disappointed. He has reportedly packed his bags and returned to his home in Essex.
A History of High-Profile Relationships
This breakup follows Katie Price's split from former fiancé Carl Woods. Her relationship history includes three previous marriages:
- To Peter Andre (2005-2009), with whom she shares children Junior, 20, and Princess, 18.
- To Alex Reid (2010-2012).
- To Kieran Hayler (2013-2021), with whom she shares children Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11.
She also has her eldest son, Harvey, 23, with ex-partner Dwight Yorke. JJ Slater rose to fame on MAFS UK in 2023 and was previously linked to the show's first transgender bride, Ella Morgan.
Split Rumours Addressed Before Confirmation
Reports of trouble in the relationship surfaced last month, prompting Katie to address the speculation directly. On her YouTube channel in a Christmas vlog, she filmed celebrations with loved ones, which notably included JJ. When asked off-camera if it was nice to be all together, she replied, "Love it. It's nice that we're all together here."
She also vented about the rumours on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, in December 2025, stating she had spoken to JJ just days prior and dismissing the breakup talk. Despite this, the couple's noticeable absence from each other's social media feeds in the preceding months had fuelled speculation, which now appears to be confirmed.
