Former glamour model Katie Price has shared a pointed festive picture with her daughter Princess, seemingly addressing swirling rumours of a strained relationship between the pair.
A Festive Post Amidst Rumours
The 47-year-old took to her Instagram story on December 26, 2025, following a quiet Christmas Day, to post a cosy snapshot. Captioned 'Me and my princess', the image showed Katie posing with her 18-year-old daughter, both dressed in casual outfits.
She notably described it as a 'one-off picture from my Christmas Day', adding she was 'surrounded with all my family'. This comes after significant speculation about tensions within the family, primarily stemming from Princess's involvement in her own TV series.
The Source of the Tension
The reported rift has its roots in Princess's TV series, 'The Princess Diaries'. Katie Price claimed on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, that she 'wasn't welcome' to participate in the show and that the situation 'upset' her.
'It puts Princess in a situation because I don't want her to feel she has to choose between me and her work because I want her to do well,' Katie explained. This behind-the-scenes 'drama' has reportedly led to Princess's father, Peter Andre, 52, and his wife Dr Emily MacDonagh, deciding to step back from the programme.
An insider told the Daily Mail that the decision was made to 'let the show focus on Princess alone'. The source added that both Katie and Peter, despite their differences, want the best for their daughter, and Peter's step back was intended to prevent Princess from feeling 'caught between her two parents'.
Christmas Arrangements and Family Dynamics
While the Instagram picture featured only Princess, Katie's son Junior Andre confirmed he would be spending Christmas afternoon with his mother. He told The Sun his plans involved splitting the day, spending the morning at his father Peter's home before heading to his mum's for the afternoon.
It is also assumed Katie's eldest son, Harvey, whose father is footballer Dwight Yorke, was present, though no pictures were posted. Katie recently revealed she reaches out to Dwight 'every year' to invite him to see Harvey, but he has so far declined.
Her two youngest children, Jett and Bunny, are also believed to have been with her, as reports indicate they have moved back in with their mother.
