Molly-Mae Hague Hints at Re-engagement with Tommy Fury After Ditching Ring
Molly-Mae Hague hints at re-engagement with Tommy Fury

Reality TV star and influencer Molly-Mae Hague has dropped her strongest hint yet that wedding plans with fiancé Tommy Fury are firmly back on the table. The 26-year-old revealed she has started wearing her £600,000 engagement ring again, signalling a full reconciliation after a turbulent split.

From Cliff-Top Proposal to a Painful Split

The couple, who found fame and love on ITV's Love Island in 2019, became one of the show's most successful pairs. They welcomed daughter Bambi in January 2023, and Tommy proposed that July during a romantic clifftop moment in Ibiza. However, their relationship faced a severe test a year later, leading to a five-month separation in 2024.

In his own documentary, boxer Tommy Fury later explained the split was caused by his struggles with alcoholism, not infidelity. He admitted he was even drunk when Molly-Mae walked out, a moment he says he can't clearly remember. The couple's journey to repair their relationship was documented in Molly-Mae's NTA-winning Amazon Prime series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All.

The Ring Returns as a Symbol of Commitment

In the final episodes of the documentary's second series, the founder of Maebe gave a clear update on their status. During a conversation with her sister Zoe, who had moved in to help after the breakup, Molly-Mae addressed the return of her diamond ring.

"I noticed the other day you had your ring back on," Zoe pointed out. Molly-Mae confirmed, "Yeah, I have been wearing it a little bit... I feel like I'm in a place where I want to wear it again. We are fully back together, and, like, that's a symbol of that."

She added that she was no longer waiting for a grand gesture from Tommy, despite previously stating she needed one before resuming wearing the expensive sparkler.

Healing Scars and Moving Homes

Despite the positive step, Molly-Mae was candid about the emotional toll. She admitted to needing therapy, describing their breakup as her "biggest trauma". She felt "triggered" when they first moved back into their Cheshire mansion together, an experience she found deeply challenging.

The documentary also captured the "bittersweet" process of the family moving from the home where they first brought up Bambi. Molly-Mae became emotional while packing, calling it "overwhelming" and "incredibly sentimental", and later broke down in tears, feeling "stressed, exhausted, and mentally drained".

For his part, Tommy used his BBC documentary, The Good. The Bad. The Fury., to vow change. After declaring 2024 his toughest year, he insisted he had prioritised his fatherly duties and promised not to be "that person anymore".

Episodes four to six of Molly-Mae: Behind It All series 2 are now available to stream on Prime Video.
