Television and radio presenter Fearne Cotton has revealed one of the most unsettling experiences of her life - a terrifying ghostly encounter that occurred while she was living in a converted pub.
The 43-year-old broadcaster shared the spine-chilling story on her podcast "Happy Place," describing in vivid detail the moment she felt an invisible presence climb into bed beside her.
The Night That Changed Everything
Cotton explained that she initially dismissed strange occurrences in the property as ordinary house noises. "I kept hearing footsteps up and down the hallway," she recalled. "I'd put it down to the pipes or the house settling."
However, one particular night took the paranormal activity to another level entirely. "I was in bed, and the duvet lifted up, and something got in next to me," Cotton described, the memory still clearly affecting her. "It was the weight of a human, and I was frozen in fear."

The former pub-turned-residence apparently had a reputation for supernatural activity long before Cotton moved in. Previous occupants had reported similar unexplained phenomena, suggesting the building retained echoes of its lively past.
