Wolf Alice Announces Monumental Finsbury Park Headline Show

London's acclaimed alt-rock band Wolf Alice has revealed plans for their most significant headline performance to date, set to take place at Finsbury Park this summer. The group will command the iconic North London venue on Sunday, July 5, marking a major milestone in their already impressive career.

A Landmark Performance Following a Stellar Year

This announcement comes just months after Wolf Alice completed a completely sold-out engagement at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, demonstrating their growing popularity and artistic stature. The past twelve months have proven exceptionally fruitful for the quartet, highlighted by the release of their fourth studio album, The Clearing, a highly successful UK arena tour that included two nights at The O2 Arena, and the honour of receiving three BRIT Award nominations.

The all-day outdoor concert at Finsbury Park will feature an exciting lineup of special guests joining Wolf Alice. The supporting roster includes the much-talked-about band The Last Dinner Party, acclaimed Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li, the group Florence Road, and Kingston's own rising talent Rachel Chinouriri.

Ticket Information and Presale Details

Access to tickets will be rolled out in stages. O2 Priority customers and newsletter subscribers will gain first access beginning at 9am on Tuesday, January 28. A general presale will then be operated by Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Spotify starting at 9am on Thursday, January 29. Finally, the general sale for all remaining tickets will commence at 10am on Friday, January 30.

From North London Roots to Chart-Topping Success

Since the debut of their first album, My Love Is Cool, in 2015, Wolf Alice has evolved into one of Britain's most celebrated and accomplished musical acts. Their career achievements include selling over 300,000 albums, winning the coveted Mercury Prize, and consistently securing number one positions on the UK charts.

Despite this remarkable success, lead singer Ellie Rowsell, who grew up in the Archway area of North London, has spoken candidly about feelings of being anchored to her roots. Her reflections are captured in the 2025 single The Sofa, where she sings about unfulfilled dreams of moving to California and a sense of being stuck in Seven Sisters. The band has described the song as a meditation on ageing and learning to avoid dwelling on past regrets.

The music video for the single offers a nostalgic tour of North London, featuring Rowsell on a moving couch against a backdrop of local life. It showcases genuine shops and cafes along Myddelton Road in Bowes Park, Wood Green, adding a deeply personal and geographical layer to their artistry.

A Major Weekend for Finsbury Park

Wolf Alice's homecoming performance is part of a massive weekend for the Finsbury Park venue. The same weekend will also see Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro headline, with a supporting bill that includes Nothing But Thieves, Don Broco, Marmozets, and Wavves. This back-to-back scheduling promises to make it a standout event in London's summer music calendar.
