Legendary jockey Frankie Dettori has been rushed to hospital with several broken bones after a horror car crash. The 55-year-old was travelling in a car in Newmarket, Suffolk, when it was struck by another vehicle yesterday.
Details of the Crash
According to reports, the retired Italian rider’s car reportedly spun out and flipped over after the rear passenger side was hit. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and Dettori was later taken to hospital.
Injuries Sustained
The former jockey was treated for a broken thumb and several broken ribs. He has remained in hospital while under further observation.
