MyLondon reporter Ayo Oluwalana tried a £19.99 sleep bundle from Nutrition Geeks containing Ashwagandha Calm+, Magnesium Glycinate 3-in-1, and Turmeric. After a month of use, he reported fewer 3am wake-ups and improved sleep quality.
Struggling with sleep
Ayo had been struggling with sleep for months, experiencing restlessness and waking up at 3:30am like clockwork. He tried mint tea and sleeping tablets without success. When Nutrition Geeks reached out with their sleep bundle, he decided to give it a try.
Testing the supplements
The bundle costs £19.99. Ayo took Ashwagandha and Magnesium one hour before bed, with phones off and lights out by 10:30-11pm. He used a Fitbit and Google Health to track sleep and wake-up readiness.
Within the first two weeks, he felt effects within 30 minutes. His body relaxed, and according to Google Health, he fell asleep within 2 minutes. He woke up refreshed and alert. The 3am wake-ups became less frequent, and he could wake at 6am, go to the gym, and start work at 8am feeling ready.
Best sleep of his life
Ayo described one sleep as "one of the best sleeps of my life." He woke up clear-headed and jumped out of bed with energy. However, benefits diminished when he had inconsistent bedtimes, such as after a night out.
He also noted that physical tiredness decreased. His deep sleep stats varied from nearly two hours to 40 minutes, correlating with how he felt.
Overall improvement
After a month, Ayo noticed significant improvements. He still occasionally wakes up in the middle of the night but less frequently. He plans to continue taking ashwagandha and magnesium. He believes the supplements helped him stick to a regular bedtime, bringing consistency and effective sleep improvement.
