Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) is not leaving Coronation Street without a fight, even as she faces trial for sexually abusing a minor. The athletics coach, exposed as a predator who groomed underage boys, continues to manipulate her victims.
Megan's crimes and victims
Megan groomed Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) and his friend Lee (Oscar Aldersley), convincing Will they were in love while exerting control. She tormented schoolboy Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) for exposing her crimes and taunted Will's step-mum Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) with a brag about sleeping with Will. She also used teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) as a beard, damaging his reputation.
Downfall and trial
Taxi driver Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) helped Will see the truth, leading to Megan's arrest. However, Megan has tricked Will into meeting her and now uses a gaming headset to reconnect with him. When Susie Price (Aurora Bradshaw) activates Will's console and hears Megan's voice, she alerts Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike) and Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn), who find Will on the headset.
According to the article, Megan's abuse has robbed Will of normality, and he even accused Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) of trying to seduce him when she offered support. The only silver lining is a potential romance with Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan).
Will the Driscolls stop Megan?
As Megan's trial looms, she continues to mess with Will's head. The question remains: will the Driscolls discover Megan's latest attempt to groom Will before it's too late?
