Emergency Services Search for Missing Three After Boxing Day Blaze
Police in Gloucestershire have confirmed that three people remain unaccounted for following a serious house fire in the early hours of Boxing Day. The incident has triggered a major emergency response and an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
Emergency teams were called to a property on Brimscombe Hill, near Stroud, at approximately 3am on Friday 26 December 2025. According to a Gloucestershire Police spokesperson, one individual managed to escape from the burning building.
That person was subsequently taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the fire. Their current condition has not been disclosed.

The police spokesperson added that efforts to locate the three other people, who are believed to have been inside the property at the time, are ongoing.
