A man in his 20s has been stabbed to death on a street in South London, prompting a major police investigation and the arrest of two suspects. The incident occurred on Thessaly Road, near the Patmore Estate in Battersea, at approximately 6:14 PM on Monday, March 2.

The victim was rushed to a hospital's Accident and Emergency department in a life-threatening condition but tragically succumbed to his injuries. The London Ambulance Service responded swiftly to the scene, deploying an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and two trauma teams from London's Air Ambulance. Despite extensive medical treatment at the scene and transport to a major trauma centre, the man could not be saved.

In connection with the stabbing, two men aged 28 and 38 have been arrested and remain in police custody.
