19-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed in Peckham as Police Launch Manhunt
A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in Peckham, with the Metropolitan Police confirming no arrests have been made in the case. The incident occurred on Rye Lane, near the junction with Heaton Road, at approximately 7:10 PM on Saturday, February 14.
Police Response and Scene Investigation
Officers rushed to the scene and discovered the victim, who was pronounced dead at the location. The police have launched a thorough investigation, appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of Rye Lane between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM to come forward with information.
The section of road where Rye Lane meets Peckham Rye has been closed for nearly 17 hours, causing significant disruptions. As a result, the following eight London buses have been diverted: 12, 37, 63, 78, 197, 343, P12, and N63.
