Three arrested after teens assaulted at Leeds shopping centre

Police in West Yorkshire have detained three men in connection with a serious sexual assault on two teenage girls at a busy Leeds shopping centre.

Incident at Seacroft Green

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at the Seacroft Green shopping centre on Seacroft Avenue. Authorities were alerted at approximately 8.45pm after receiving calls concerning a group of men behaving suspiciously within the retail complex.

Upon arrival, officers quickly located two teenage girls and two men. Following initial inquiries, two men, aged 38 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of sexual assault offences against the teenagers at the scene.

Third Suspect Detained

The investigation led to a further arrest on Wednesday. A third man, aged 20, was taken into custody on suspicion of sexual assault, as confirmed by West Yorkshire Police. All three suspects currently remain in police custody for questioning.

Police have increased patrols in the Seacroft area while the investigation remains ongoing. Detectives are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward immediately.
