Epstein Files Photos Feature Prominent Figures in Latest Document Release

Sky News is currently analysing a substantial selection of photographs included within the latest tranche of documents released by the United States Department of Justice concerning the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. This enormous batch comprises three million pages of documents alongside thousands of videos and photographs, with the release occurring on Saturday, 31st January 2026.

It is crucial to emphasise that the appearance of high-profile individuals within these files does not, in itself, indicate any wrongdoing. The publication forms part of an ongoing judicial process, and Sky News is meticulously sifting through the material to provide accurate reporting.

Images Appear to Show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Among the released photographs are three images that appear to depict Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. The pictures seem to show him on all fours, positioned over a woman who is lying on a floor.

  • No specific context, explanation, or date is provided for these photographs within the files.
  • In two of the images, the man appears to be touching the woman's stomach, while another shows him looking directly at the camera.

In a statement issued on 17th October 2025, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reiterated that he "vigorously" denies the accusations made against him. The presence of these images in the document release is noted without implication of guilt.

Former President Bill Clinton Pictured

One photograph shows former United States President Bill Clinton cutting a slice of cake for a woman aboard what appears to be a private jet. Two other men are visible standing nearby, also eating cake. The faces of two women in this image have been redacted.

Additional photos from the same scene were also released, including one featuring Mr Clinton alongside Ghislaine Maxwell, who is seen standing over the cake while photographing it. A spokesperson for Mr Clinton has previously acknowledged he took four trips on Epstein's private plane in the early 2000s, though some media reports have cited flight logs suggesting more frequent travel.

Mr Clinton has consistently denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein. In his 2024 memoir, he expressed regret, writing that travelling on Epstein's plane was "not worth the years of questioning afterwards" and that he wished he had never met the financier.

Director Brett Ratner and Other Figures

Photographs also feature film director Brett Ratner, recently in the spotlight for directing the documentary "Melania". In the images, he is seen hugging two unknown women on a white sofa alongside Jeffrey Epstein. All women's faces in these pictures are redacted.

A second photo includes the late French model scout Jean-Luc Brunel, seated on the sofa with another woman. Mr Ratner has previously denied allegations of sexual misconduct made against him. Jean-Luc Brunel was detained in 2020 on serious allegations but was found dead in his Paris prison cell before trial.

Bill Gates and Peter Mandelson Also Appear

The files contain an image showing a framed photograph of billionaire Bill Gates, standing next to two individuals whose faces have been obscured. Mr Gates has publicly admitted to meeting Epstein for "several dinners," stating he regretted giving him credibility and that it was a "huge mistake."

Further photographs show Lord Peter Mandelson, the former UK ambassador to the United States, sitting next to Epstein on a yacht. This image was part of a batch of over one hundred pictures. Lord Mandelson has issued an apology, stating he was wrong to maintain an association with Epstein after his conviction.

Inclusion of Ghislaine Maxwell's Booking Form

The latest document release also includes the official police booking intake form for Ghislaine Maxwell. This form features pictures of her in an orange jumpsuit and records her date of arrest as 2nd July 2020. Maxwell was subsequently convicted for her role in Epstein's crimes.

Sky News continues to review the extensive documentation as part of its commitment to thorough and responsible journalism, providing updates as further analysis is completed.
