Epstein Files Release Features Photos of High-Profile Figures
A substantial new release of documents related to the convicted paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein has been made public by the United States Department of Justice. This latest tranche comprises an extensive collection of materials, including three million pages of documents alongside thousands of videos and photographs. Among these are images featuring several prominent individuals, including members of royalty, former world leaders, and notable figures from the entertainment industry.
Images Show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in Unusual Pose
Three photographs within the files appear to depict Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in a compromising position. The images show him on all fours over a woman who is lying on the floor. In two of these pictures, the man seems to be touching the woman's stomach, while the third captures him looking directly at the camera. No contextual information, such as dates or explanations, accompanies these photographs. It is crucial to emphasise that being pictured in these documents does not imply any wrongdoing. In a statement issued in October 2025, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reiterated his vigorous denial of all accusations made against him.
Bill Clinton Pictured Cutting Cake on Private Jet
Another photograph reveals former United States President Bill Clinton cutting a slice of cake for a woman aboard what appears to be a private aircraft. Two other men are visible standing beside Clinton, also partaking in the cake. The faces of two women in the image have been redacted. Additional photos from the same scene, released in the files, show Clinton with Ghislaine Maxwell, who is pictured standing over the cake while photographing it. A spokesperson for Mr Clinton has previously acknowledged that he took four trips on Epstein's private plane between 2002 and 2003, though some media reports suggest the number could be as high as twenty-six. Clinton has consistently denied any misconduct related to Epstein.
Film Director Brett Ratner Seen with Epstein and Women
Photographs also feature film director Brett Ratner hugging two unknown women alongside Jeffrey Epstein on a white sofa. The faces of three women in these pictures have been redacted. One image shows Ratner with both arms around a woman while staring directly at the camera. A second photograph includes the late French model scout and convicted sexual predator Jean-Luc Brunel, seated on the sofa with another woman. Ratner, who recently directed a documentary about Melania Trump, has previously been accused of sexual misconduct by six women, allegations he vehemently denies. Brunel was found dead in his Paris prison cell in 2022 while awaiting trial on multiple charges.
Additional Figures Featured in Epstein Document Release
The files also contain a framed photograph of billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates, standing beside two individuals whose faces have been obscured. Gates has publicly admitted to meeting Epstein for several dinners, expressing regret and describing the association as a significant error in judgement. Furthermore, an image shows Lord Peter Mandelson, the former UK ambassador to the United States, sitting next to Epstein on a yacht. Mandelson has issued an apology, stating he was wrong to maintain an association with Epstein after his conviction. The release additionally includes Ghislaine Maxwell's police booking intake form, complete with her mugshot in an orange jumpsuit, dated from her arrest in July 2020.
Sky News continues to analyse this extensive document release, working to sift through the vast quantity of material to provide accurate reporting on its contents. The presence of these individuals in the Epstein files is noted, but it is explicitly stated that such inclusion does not constitute evidence of any illegal activity.
