Former Love Island Star Arrested at Gatwick Over Serious Allegations
Ex-Love Islander arrested on suspicion of sexual assault

A former contestant from the hit ITV2 show Love Island has been arrested on suspicion of a series of serious offences, including sexual assault and stalking. The man, who is in his 20s, was detained by police as his flight touched down at Gatwick Airport.

Details of the Arrest and Allegations

The arrest took place on Saturday, November 27, 2025, after a woman came forward to the Metropolitan Police with allegations against the reality TV personality. Officers launched their investigation twelve days prior, on November 15.

The unnamed man, who has not been featured in the most recent series of the dating show, was arrested on suspicion of multiple crimes. These include sexual assault, stalking, coercive control, assault by beating, and causing criminal damage. He is also accused of making threats to share revenge porn.

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed: "He was arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, including sexual assault, stalking, criminal damage and assault. A woman has been offered specialist support by officers." The suspect was later released on bail while enquiries continue.

Impact on Love Island and ITV

The arrest presents a fresh challenge for Love Island producers and ITV, a show which has faced intense scrutiny over duty of care in previous years. A source told The Sun: "These incredibly serious allegations are the last thing the show and ITV need given all the problems Love Island has faced in the past."

The source added that network bosses would ensure the individual is kept away from the show and any links to ITV if any of the allegations are proven. "We know the police are taking this very seriously," they stated.

Context: Love Island: All Stars Delay

This news emerges as Love Island: All Stars begins to air its third season, once again hosted by Maya Jama. The launch of the series was delayed due to wildfires in South Africa, which forced the evacuation of the villa and a postponement of filming.

An ITV spokesperson said at the time: "Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed." The show has since begun broadcasting.
