Two Charged in Fatal South London Shooting

Two men have been charged following a double shooting in Clapham that left a 27-year-old man dead. The incident occurred on New Park Road on November 8 last year at approximately 8:50 PM.

Victim and Incident Details

Police arrived at the scene to find Kyrone Moodie, 27, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day. A 20-year-old man was also injured in the shooting but survived.

Arrests and Charges

On Wednesday, April 22, a suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder at a residence in Lambeth. The following day, Thursday, April 23, a 31-year-old man was detained on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Both individuals were formally charged on Thursday, April 23. Moureik Ebanks, 20, from Saints Close in West Norwood, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a firearm. Rushaune Davis, 31, of Brixton Road in Brixton, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Legal Proceedings

The two men remain in custody and are scheduled to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 24. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
