Notably, counter-protesters held up pictures of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accompanied by captions such as "We trust you". Others displayed placards featuring Iran's exiled crown prince Reza Pahlavi, emphasizing support for the former monarchy.

Two police officers were observed monitoring the protest with a video camera from the balcony of a residential property opposite the centre, ensuring documentation of the events. Some drivers passing by in cars or on motorbikes sounded their horns and waved both the current and previous Iranian flags, adding to the chaotic atmosphere.
