Two 21-Year-Olds Arrested in Hounslow Murder Case

Detectives investigating the murder of 22-year-old Haruun Hassan in Hounslow have arrested a man and a woman, both aged 21, on Sunday, July 5. The suspects have been taken into custody for questioning.

Victim Found with Stab Injuries

Haruun Hassan was discovered with serious stab wounds at the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road, part of the A4, in the early hours of Tuesday, June 30. London Ambulance Service crews attended the scene, but despite their efforts, Hassan was pronounced dead at the scene. A murder investigation was immediately launched, with forensics teams collecting evidence along the stretch of the A4 throughout the day. Photos from the scene showed yellow evidence markers within a lengthy cordon, along with scattered first-aid equipment and clothing.

Investigation Progresses

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the investigation, stated: “Our thoughts remain with Haruun’s family during this very difficult time. Our investigation is progressing and we have made two arrests, with those people now in custody. We continue to ask any witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to Haruun that night to please contact us as soon as possible.” The arrests mark a significant step in the case, but police are still appealing for public assistance to piece together the events leading to the fatal stabbing.
