Police have publicly named a man they urgently wish to trace following a violent glassing incident at a bar in South London, which left a victim requiring hospital treatment and reconstructive surgery.

The Metropolitan Police are leading an investigation into what they describe as an "appalling" assault that occurred at approximately midnight on Sunday, February 1. The incident took place at the Tanyard Bar and Kitchen, located on Bexley High Street.

Emergency services, including officers from the Met and the London Ambulance Service, were swiftly dispatched to the scene. The victim, a man in his 30s, was transported to a nearby hospital where he underwent reconstructive surgery for his injuries.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rodgers, who is overseeing the case, stated: "This was a very serious assault, in which the victim suffered appalling injuries. We believe Billy Clarke may have information that could assist our investigation, and are appealing for anyone who knows of his whereabouts to come forward."
