Three teenage boys and one adult man have been formally charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old in Feltham, West London, marking a significant development in a case that has shocked the local community.
Victim Identified as Maliki Sharma
The victim has been named as Maliki Sharma, a resident of Feltham, who tragically lost his life to knife crime. Police were called to Victoria Road in Feltham at approximately 5pm on Monday, January 12, following emergency reports of a stabbing incident.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an 18-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after. The Metropolitan Police Service confirmed his identity as Maliki Sharma, extending condolences to his family and friends.
Charges Filed Against Four Individuals
Three boys from the Hounslow area, who cannot be named due to their age, were charged on Friday, February 13. One of these teenagers faces a murder charge and appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Saturday, February 14. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear next at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, February 17.
The two other boys were charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm (GBH). They made separate court appearances at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court and Uxbridge Magistrates' Court today. Both have been remanded into youth detention and will also appear at the Old Bailey on the same date, February 17.
Adult Defendant Faces Upgraded Charges
In addition to the teenagers, Rhys Huskinson, a 19-year-old from North Road in Feltham, was charged on Wednesday, January 14, with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in relation to this investigation. His charges were subsequently escalated to attempted grievous bodily harm on Thursday, February 12.
Huskinson is currently remanded in custody and is set to next appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Wednesday, March 11, as the legal proceedings continue to unfold.
