Foxtons Offers Free Flight Avios Points for Selling or Renting Your Home
Earn 30,000 Avios Points by Selling Your Home with Foxtons

Forget lending your credit card to a friend for a round of drinks in a bid to earn air miles. A major London estate agent is offering a far more substantial route to racking up travel rewards: selling or renting out your property.

How the Foxtons and Avios Partnership Works

Foxtons has teamed up with IAG Loyalty, the company behind the British Airways Avios rewards scheme, in a UK first for the property sector. The initiative allows homeowners to convert the value of their property transaction into Avios points, commonly known as air miles.

Customers who sell or let their home through Foxtons can collect up to 30,000 Avios, which is estimated to be worth around £300. For landlords who already manage their tenancies through the agency, there is an opportunity to earn up to 20,000 points.

The scheme has a retroactive element. Sales that completed between January 15, 2025, and January 31, 2026, are eligible, meaning some may already qualify. However, points cannot be claimed for properties merely on the market; a sale must have been finalised.

Maximising Your Points for Free Travel

To participate, customers must link their My Foxtons account with their British Airways Executive Club membership before instructing the agency. New members can sign up and still qualify.

For those letting a property, points will be distributed in 12 monthly instalments for the duration of the management agreement, rather than as a single lump sum. A minimum of 10,000 Avios is needed to access British Airways Reward Flights, meaning the maximum Foxtons reward could cover flights to European destinations like Geneva, Paris, or Nice.

Guy Gittins, CEO of Foxtons, stated: "This partnership is another way we’re adding value for our customers and strengthening what makes Foxtons unique. As the only UK estate agent where people can earn Avios, we’re giving customers an additional benefit when they choose to let or sell in London."

Other Ways to Boost Your Avios Balance

While this property scheme is novel, Avios points are traditionally earned through flights with British Airways and partner airlines like Iberia and Aer Lingus. Daily spending can also accumulate points.

Key methods include:

  • Using a linked British Airways American Express card, which earns one point per £1 spent.
  • Shopping online via the Avios portal with retailers like ASOS, John Lewis, and M&S.
  • Converting Nectar points from Sainsbury's shopping into Avios.
  • Dining at partner restaurants such as Pizza Express.

This move by Foxtons signals a competitive push in London's property market, offering a tangible perk beyond traditional estate agency services and directly appealing to travel-savvy homeowners and investors.
