He responded with a full rotation aerial that featured approximately two seconds of hang time, followed by a series of sharp snaps. All five judges awarded a perfect 10, propelling Dora into the semi-finals against fellow Brazilian Italo Ferreira.

Australian Morgan Cibilic also delivered a dramatic performance, needing a 7.90 to advance. With only three seconds left, he caught a wave and executed five stunning snaps, followed by additional maneuvers on an inside corner. The wave scored an 8.0, earning him a semi-final matchup against Griffin Colapinto, who defeated Filipe Toledo.
In the women's competition, Sawyer Lindblad edged out Alyssa Spencer by 0.03 points in a thrilling semi-final, while Carissa Moore defeated Bettylou Sakura Johnson with a commanding score of 19.00 to 13.70.
