In the latest Coronation Street spoiler video, tensions escalate between detectives Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) as a new suspect emerges in the murder of Theo Silverton. The investigation has already involved close friends and neighbors, but now family members are being drawn into the case.
Kit Returns to a Hostile Reception
Kit has been away from Weatherfield for about a week, and his return is far from warm. He discovers that Todd Grimshaw's (Gareth Pierce) missing phone has been recovered, which could be a crucial piece of evidence. Todd had previously told Lisa that he turned back from the airport because he lost his phone, which contained everything he needed.
Fingerprints Point to Brody
However, Kit is shocked to learn that the phone is covered in Brody Michaelis' (Ryan Mulvey) fingerprints. Kit immediately defends his son, insisting Brody had nothing to do with the murder and pointing out that someone is already in custody. That someone is Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), who faces a mountain of evidence against her. Despite this, Summer maintains her innocence, and flashbacks to the night of the murder support her claims.
Kit's protests are quickly dismissed, and he is warned to stay away from the case. But will he obey? Of course not.
Kit Targets Gary Windass
Later in the week, Kit intensifies his pressure on Gary Windass (Mikey North). Kit has made it clear that Gary is his prime suspect, but so far, Gary has refused to crack. After questioning him about Todd's phone, Kit tells Lisa that he believes Gary is hiding something and is determined to uncover the truth.
