Tottenham's Premier League Transfer Targets: Brighton, Man City, Liverpool Stars
Spurs Target Brighton, Man City, Liverpool Stars in Summer Overhaul

Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a significant squad overhaul this summer as they aim to recover from a disastrous season that saw them narrowly avoid relegation to the Championship. The north London club secured their Premier League status with a 1-0 victory over Everton on the final day, but finishing 17th for the second consecutive year has been deemed unacceptable for a club of their stature.

Manager Roberto De Zerbi Eyes Brighton Trio

Manager Roberto De Zerbi, who arrived at the end of March and played a crucial role in keeping Spurs up, is expected to reshape the squad dramatically. According to The Independent, the Italian is targeting three players from his former club Brighton: midfielder Carlos Baleba, defender Jan Paul van Hecke, and goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen. However, signing all three may prove difficult, especially as Baleba was valued at around £100 million when Manchester United showed interest last summer.

Other Goalkeeping Targets

Spurs have also identified Manchester City and England goalkeeper James Trafford, currently second choice behind Gianluigi Donnarumma at the Etihad. Additionally, The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham are considering Leeds United goalkeeper Karl Darlow as a potential addition.

Liverpool's Andy Robertson Linked

Long-standing links with Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson have intensified, with the 32-year-old Scot expected to move to Tottenham after leaving Anfield at the end of his contract. Robertson bid farewell to Liverpool on Sunday after nine years at the club.

More Manchester City Targets

Beyond Trafford, Tottenham are reportedly interested in two more Manchester City players. The Mail claims Spurs remain keen on winger Savinho, having failed to sign him last summer. Meanwhile, The Independent reports that centre-back John Stones, available on a free transfer after leaving City, is also on De Zerbi's radar.

Bournemouth's Marcos Senesi in Demand

To further strengthen the defence, Tottenham are leading the race to sign Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi. The 29-year-old Argentine has been a regular for the Cherries this season but is now expected to move to north London.

Outgoings: Key Players Set to Depart

Several high-profile players are expected to leave Tottenham this summer, either on free transfers, at the end of loan deals, or through sales. Yves Bissouma and Ben Davies are both out of contract and unlikely to extend. Joao Palhinha, on loan from Bayern Munich, may be retained, but Randal Kolo Muani is not expected to have a future at the club. Captain Cristian Romero is likely to be sold, with Atletico Madrid long-term admirers, while goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is also expected to depart.
