Former Manchester United defensive stalwart Jaap Stam has delivered a forceful message to the club's hierarchy, insisting it would be a "grave error" to allow Harry Maguire to depart on a free transfer this summer. The ex-Red Devils centre-back, speaking exclusively to Metro, highlighted the "important" role the £80 million signing continues to play at Old Trafford.
Maguire's Resurgence Under Carrick's Leadership
Since Michael Carrick's appointment as interim head coach, Maguire has experienced a significant resurgence in form.
