Coral Reef Waterworld, a £13 million indoor water park in Bracknell, Berkshire, has become a popular destination for Londoners seeking a reliable family day out, regardless of weather. Located about two hours from the capital, the park underwent a major transformation in 2017 and now features a wide range of attractions for all ages.
Thrill Rides and Slides
For adrenaline seekers, The Canon is a high-speed thrill ride with sensors that time your descent down a 67-metre flume. Riders can compete to beat the day's fastest time. Aqua Splash offers a gentler option with 15 illuminated touch pads that score points as you pass. Storm Chaser provides a customizable experience, allowing riders to choose their soundtrack and lighting effects. Poseidon's Peril is a two-person raft ride through 20 spinning illuminated rings, creating the illusion of plunging toward the seabed. Maelstrom starts calmly but spins riders in a turbulent cone before the finish.
Family-Friendly Attractions
Younger visitors can enjoy paddling pools with miniature slides, drench buckets, and a yellow diving bell. The lazy river offers relaxation, while the Disco Island Rapid Channel provides faster currents. The Coralina Pirate Ship, equipped with water cannons and slides, is a park favorite, complete with an erupting volcano. A spa is also available for adults.
