A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing occurred at a London Overground station. The incident took place at Turkey Street station, located in the Bullsmoor area of Enfield, on Tuesday, February 10, at approximately 5pm.
Victim Hospitalized with Chest Wounds
Police responded to reports of a serious incident and discovered a victim with knife wounds to the chest. The victim, whose age and gender have not been disclosed, was promptly transported to a hospital for treatment. According to a statement from the British Transport Police, the attack unfolded after a boy crossed the railway tracks to confront a group on the opposite platform. The group was then reportedly chased towards the station stairs. Following the altercation, the boy returned to the platform, jumped onto the tracks again, and fled the scene.
