Recent Tragic Incidents on UK Roads

This fatal crash follows another recent tragedy on Britain's roads just days before Christmas. On Saturday, December 20, a two-year-old boy from London was killed and five others seriously injured on the A1 in Cambridgeshire.

Their Toyota Auris, which had broken down, was struck by a Volkswagen Touran near Stibbington Junction at 6.20pm. The Volkswagen driver, a 64-year-old man from Peterborough, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after escaping with minor injuries.

Police investigations into both incidents continue.
