Two individuals have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in East London.
Incident Details and Emergency Response
The incident occurred on Friday, January 16, 2026, on Heathway in Dagenham. Emergency services were alerted at 2.38pm after reports of the crash.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed their crews were dispatched to the scene. "We treated two patients at the scene and took them to hospital," the spokesperson stated.
Condition of Those Involved and Road Status
Both patients were transported to Accident and Emergency. Authorities have confirmed that the injuries sustained were not life-threatening.
The Metropolitan Police echoed this, stating there were 'no life-changing or life-threatening injuries' reported.
The collision necessitated the temporary closure of Heathway to allow for the emergency response and initial investigation. However, the key route was reopened to traffic a short time later, minimising long-term disruption for local drivers and residents.
