Transport police have launched an urgent manhunt after a horrifying incident at a North London Underground station where a man was deliberately pushed onto live train tracks.
The shocking assault occurred at Highbury & Islington station around 12:30pm on Monday, 18th March, leaving commuters terrified as the victim narrowly avoided being struck by an approaching train.
British Transport Police have released a clear CCTV image of a woman they urgently wish to speak with in connection with what they're describing as a "dangerous and reckless" attack.
Miraculous Escape
In what authorities are calling nothing short of miraculous, the victim managed to escape serious injury despite falling directly into the path of an oncoming train. Quick-thinking station staff and emergency responders ensured the man was safely removed from the tracks before any train reached the platform.
The victim, whose identity remains protected, was treated at the scene for minor injuries and the profound shock of his near-death experience.

Detectives from the British Transport Police have made a direct appeal to the public, urging anyone who recognises the woman in the released image to come forward immediately.
