Police are appealing for witnesses after a man engaged in a series of disturbing incidents on the London Underground, including exposing his underwear and making sexual comments to female passengers.
Incident at Holborn Station
The unsettling events unfolded at Holborn Underground Station on Tuesday, January 13, at approximately 12:45pm. According to reports, the man was initially seen smoking a cigarette on the platform, in clear violation of Transport for London's strict no-smoking policy.
Inappropriate Behaviour on the Tube
While on the platform, the individual then proceeded to show his underwear to a fellow female passenger in what witnesses describe as a deliberate and unsettling act. He subsequently boarded a Piccadilly line train heading towards King's Cross station.
Once aboard the train, the man approached a second woman and began making explicit sexual comments towards her, causing significant distress. The situation escalated further when he followed this passenger off the train at an undisclosed location before eventually leaving the area.
Police Investigation Underway
British Transport Police have launched an investigation into the incidents and are keen to speak with both women who were targeted, as well as any other passengers who may have witnessed the inappropriate behaviour.
