Toblerone and Swarovski Launch Crystal Chocolate Bar
Toblerone Swarovski Crystal Chocolate Bar

Toblerone has partnered with Swarovski to create a limited-edition crystal-encrusted chocolate bar, blending Swiss chocolate with luxury crystals. The collaboration, announced on October 10, 2023, features a 360g Toblerone bar adorned with 100 Swarovski crystals, each individually hand-placed.

Price and Availability

The exclusive bar is priced at £1,500 and only 100 pieces are available worldwide. It will be sold exclusively at Harrods in London, starting from October 16, 2023. According to Toblerone, the bar is packaged in a premium gift box with a certificate of authenticity.

Design and Craftsmanship

The crystals are arranged in the iconic Toblerone triangle pattern, set into the chocolate using a food-safe adhesive. Swarovski's creative director, Giovanna Engelbert, stated: "This collaboration is a celebration of precision and craftsmanship, combining two iconic Swiss brands." The chocolate itself is the classic Toblerone recipe, with honey and almond nougat.

Market Reaction

The announcement has generated significant buzz on social media, with many praising the fusion of confectionery and jewelry. However, some critics have questioned the practicality of eating a chocolate bar encrusted with non-edible crystals. Toblerone assures that the crystals can be removed before consumption, and the chocolate remains fully edible.
