Brooklyn Beckham Earns $1M for Ad That Left Family 'Heartbroken'

Brooklyn Beckham is believed to have earned a major paycheque from an advert that left his parents 'heartbroken.' The eldest Beckham offspring, 27, appeared in a promotional video for food delivery service DoorDash last week, in which he poked fun at his ongoing estrangement from his parents and siblings.

'You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… It's a long story,' a smirking Brooklyn begins in the initial teaser. The advert then shows Brooklyn slapping his football tickets down on a heaped table, which displays a pile of unopened letters, a camera, and a luxury watch – all implied to be from his family. 'It's complicated,' reads the caption. 'More soon.'

The advert, which is believed to have left parents David and Victoria Beckham 'stunned' and 'heartbroken,' is reported to have earned Brooklyn a whopping $1 million, or £745,000. This figure comes from Page Six, which credited it to a source close to Brooklyn. 'It's a little cheesy,' the publication's source said, adding: 'Anything that makes him money is good — it shows that his brand is there and flourishing.'

Soon after the initial teaser's release, DoorDash aired the full version, in which Brooklyn gives his tickets away to a delivery driver. 'These can go to someone else,' he says, telling the driver to 'put them somewhere fun.' The advert is said to have left the Beckhams blindsided, with a source telling Metro in the aftermath: 'Brooklyn's advert has left his family stunned. No one could have predicted he would do something like this. Monetising this situation will be heartbreaking for David and Victoria, especially after his dig at "Brand Beckham" in his statement. Brooklyn has called for peace and privacy, and this feels like the complete opposite by joking about their family fallout in front of the world.'

Soon after, brother Cruz, 21, offered a show of solidarity to their parents in an Instagram post which paid tribute to dad David's iconic no.7 football shirt. In footage posted by his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30, Cruz could be seen modifying an England shirt with a felt-tip pen, drawing the number on the back. 'DIY it,' read the caption. He and Jackie then had a star-studded bash at a West London pub to watch the game, where the partying continued until 1am.

This comes weeks after sister Harper, 14, attempted to reach out to big brother Brooklyn by paying a visit to his home in LA. Dressed in the same pink dress and cardigan she had worn to David's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Harper was spotted getting out of an SUV at what is believed to be Brooklyn's mansion. Moments later, she left again. According to Page Six, neither Brooklyn nor his wife were at home, with his team claiming that the attempted reunion was 'choreographed'. A spokesperson for Nicola and Brooklyn told Metro: 'That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.'

A source close to the Beckhams responded by telling Daily Mail: 'It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother. Nothing needed to be said at all, so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary.' The publication's source also claimed that Brooklyn has not accepted any contact from either Harper or his grandparents since the family feud began.

Metro has contacted Brooklyn Beckham's representatives for comment on this story.
