Lee Andrews has once again declared his intention to leave Dubai and travel to the United Kingdom to reunite with his wife, Katie Price. Since marrying the reality TV star in January, the 48-year-old has remained in the UAE while Price has frequently flown out to maintain their long-distance relationship.
Repeated Promises and Unfulfilled Travel
In May, ITV's Good Morning Britain announced that Andrews would appear alongside Price, and he even sent a video from Dubai airport holding his passport. However, he never arrived, with Price claiming he was occupied with business matters. Shortly after, he was reported missing and later discovered in a Dubai prison, from which he has since been released. Despite The Sun confirming his imprisonment was due to unpaid debts, Andrews insists he was captured by gunmen on suspicion of espionage.
New Revenue Stream and UK Plans
Andrews has now turned to paid video messages, known as cameos, to generate income. In a recent message to TikTok user Camillarhuda, he offered marriage advice and revealed his plans to finally enter the UK. “I will be coming to the UK, despite what everyone’s saying. I’m on my way soon, so I’ll be giving Dubai up a little bit,” he said, though he provided no specific timeline.
Allegations and Controversies
Andrews has faced numerous accusations since marrying Price, including misleading claims of being a multi-millionaire business owner. His social media profiles, which featured photos with celebrities like Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian, were later exposed as AI-generated. He has also been accused of taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend's name without her knowledge, leading to a travel ban from the UAE.
Additional controversies include teasing a fake pregnancy with Price, scamming multiple women, and ghosting his wife. The Sun reported that Andrews is squatting in a run-down villa in Dubai and using a burner phone. He also faces a potential return to jail if he fails to repay debts within 14 days, including 266,060 Dirhams (£54,000) to a car rental company and 74,817.50 Dirhams (£15,000) to a legal firm.
Despite these challenges, Andrews has expressed a desire to confront Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid, whom he believes should lose her job for not believing his story.
